The World's Largest Asian-Interest Fraternity
Lambda Phi Epsilon (ΛΦΕ) is the largest and only international Asian-interest fraternity, with over 10,000 brothers across the world united by a shared commitment to brotherhood, service, and cultural pride.
Founded on the belief that leadership and community go hand in hand, Lambda Phi Epsilon provides a space where Asian American men and allies can grow together — academically, personally, and professionally.
Our brothers represent the full spectrum of Asian American identity, building connections that last a lifetime while making a lasting impact on the communities around them.
Lambda Phi Epsilon at the University of Minnesota is always looking for driven, passionate individuals who want to be part of something bigger. Fill out our interest form and take the first step toward brotherhood.
Our national philanthropy is the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). We collaborate with NMDP to help individuals in need of bone marrow transplants.
Our fraternity actively raises awareness for leukemia and various blood disorders through local #BeTheMatch campaigns, registering committed donors to enhance the probability for patients to discover a life-saving match.
Our principal founders Laajlim Khang, Thang Nguyen, and Devin Vue dreamt of creating and fostering another inclusive space for Asian-American males and their nuanced identities. They went on to recruit ten more men and eventually formed the interest group HEARTH.
On October 25, 2020, the University of Minnesota Associate Chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon was officially established as the 71st chapter of the organization.
We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive space at UMN-Twin Cities — involved in leadership, educational, and advocacy initiatives, creating a safe space for our Asian-American community to celebrate our culture and connections.

Lambda Phi Epsilon offers not only a brotherhood within our chapter, but connections throughout the multicultural greek council and across the world. With 70+ chapters, we create a sense of community internationally that is only possible through our organization.
